The Civic Center offers in-house catering service via the JEBCC Catering Group and offers a wide range of options for your event including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in between.
Meet Our Chef
Chef Corey Hooks serves as the Executive Chef and Director for the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center Catering Group. Chef Corey has also served as a CCC&TI Culinary Arts instructor for more than a decade and serves as Director for the Culinary and Hospitality programs.
Chef Corey, a Johnson and Wales University graduate, brings passion and many years of experience to JEBCC. Prior to joining the faculty at CCC&TI, Chef Corey served as the Executive Chef of Bistro 127 and worked under two Certified Master Chefs at Augusta National Golf Club, which included executing buffets, plated meals, and action stations for the Master’s Tournament.
Chef Corey’s experience also includes a two-year apprenticeship under a Five Diamond Chef and successfully launching his own catering business supporting two local winery venues for 8 years. Chef Corey holds professional certifications in Nutrition, Chef Instructor, Hospitality Management, Human Resource, and Restaurant Management Professional through the National Restaurant Association.
